Planting Details

This section should help you to read and create planting details

What is a plant detail?

How do you plant a plant? Everyone has a different idea about this. Maybe you will plant it differently in differing circumstances. Planting details are a way that you can control (to a degree) the planting methods when someone else is installing the plants. Planting details consist of a drawing in section view with annotations describing the method.

Who are they for?

Drawing plant details

Scale

Details in general are scaled drawings. They are commonly in 2d Section view occasionally with supplementary plans and sometimes accompanying 3d representations. For planting details, a 2d orthogonal section drawing should be sufficient.
