VECTORWORKS CAD CLASS PROPOSAL

Hi all

You may have ended up here from an Instagram post or similar about online CAD Classes. I’m currently looking at the viability of running a Vectorworks 2d landscape class for beginners for on Thursday evenings online Australian Eastern Standard Time. It will probably run for around 10 -12 sessions.

I was trying to ascertain whether there was enough interest to make it cost effective to run a Vectorworks class as I had a few enquiries. It looks like there enough people wanting to join in. However, I’m a little worried that Vectorworks is not going to be the best software for everyone that has shown interest. It’s around $3,000 annually for the software subscription and has a steep learning curve. It is very good, but really just for people who use it very regularly. I am also currently trying to see if I am able to secure some temporary student licenses for the participants which would be necessary for it to go ahead. There are some other applications that I could also teach in a second class at some point if there are enough people that want something more basic.
